INTELLIGENCE IS WHAT
MAKES US HUMAN.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
EXPANDS OUR REACH.
SO DOES OUR HUMANITY.
NOVA is the first large-scale immersive art exhibition dedicated entirely to artificial intelligence. Set in the iconic Magazzini Raccordati in Milan from 15th of October 2026 to 10th of January 2027, NOVA blends art, design, culture, and technology in a visitor-centric experience empowered by AI.

UTOPIA VS DYSTOPIA
NOVA's main theme of its first edition, "Utopia vs Dystopia" revolves around the exploration of artificial intelligence as both an opportunity and a threat to humanity.
The exhibition aims to provoke reflection on whether AI will lead humanity towards an ideal future (utopia), enhancing our lives and making us more human, or towards a problematic future (dystopia).
Through interactive and immersive art installations, educational content, and a comprehensive engagement journey, NOVA invites visitors to experience and critically assess the contrasting potentials of artificial intelligence in multiple domains such as art, design, fashion, industry, finance, education, and culture.

COLLABORATIONS
The collaboration between NOVA, Politecnico di Milano, and Tama Art University represents a strategic partnership that significantly enriches the project's conceptual and experiential depth.
Politecnico di Milano, renowned for its expertise in technological innovation, architecture, and design, brings cutting-edge technical know-how and research-driven insights to NOVA. Their participation adds rigor to the exploration of artificial intelligence, ensuring that the exhibition's educational components are grounded in the latest scientific and technological advancements.
Tama Art University Tokyo, on the other hand, famous for its emphasis on art, humanities, and cultural perspectives, contributes a humanistic and anthropological depth. Tama's involvement allows NOVA to critically examine AI's ethical, societal, and cultural implications from diverse viewpoints, enhancing the narrative's complexity and emotional resonance.

CURATORSHIP
Having a highly competent and insightful curatorial support, particularly through the partnership between Golab and Panoramatiks under Seiichi Saito’s leadership, is essential for giving NOVA conceptual richness and experiential depth.
Seiichi Saito and his Panoramatiks team bring a unique global perspective, rooted in extensive experience with interactive installations, technological innovation, and immersive storytelling.
This expertise complements Golab’s strategic creative vision and knowledge of local artistic and cultural networks, enabling a dynamic synergy that enhances the narrative power of NOVA’s theme of "Utopia vs Dystopia".

WHERE
Hidden beneath the bustle of Milano Centrale lies our network of five interconnected tunnels, secured through an exclusive partnership with GSR. Just steps from the main square, these cavernous passages offer a central, easily reached stage for NOVA.
With their raw concrete surfaces and industrial edge, the tunnels form a perfect canvas for the exhibition's vivid projections and interactive installations - turning rough texture into luminous spectacle.
